Structured Circus Workshops
Perfect for schools or holiday clubs. We teach skills appropriate to age/ability including juggling, diabolo, plate-spinning, chinese ribbons, feather balancing, poi, hulahoop, tightwire, stilts, unicycle and pedalgoes.
“Wow what a wonderful day the children had. I would certainly recommend Tom for a circus skills workshop for schools. The resources were great and all activities were age appropriate. So many children shone who normally find school a bit ‘tricky’.”Alex Chambers, Holme CE School
Typically we would run a series of workshops throughout the day or half day. We enjoy working towards a joint session finale during which students have the chance to share their new skills. We can teach up to 250 pupils in a day.
Open Circus Workshops Perfect for fundays, fetes, children’s entertainment at festivals and parties, or anywhere with a relaxed vibe. Adults often get involved too!
We teach and perform juggling, hulahoop, tightwire, unicycle, poi, diabolo pedalgoes, stilts and more! We can also provide a sound system, facepainting and balloon modelling.
“Thank you Tom for a fantastic circus workshop at our Down’s Syndrome fun day. You showed great patience and skill. Your workshop was the highlight of the day.” Elsa, Down’s Syndrome Oxford.“
At our open workshops people come and go as they please, help themselves to our equipment, enjoy watching us showing off our skills and we are always on hand to offer tips and advice for anyone that needs it.
Circus Performance Week With a week of structured workshops, participants are able to attend multiple sessions and thus have the chance to really get to grips with challenging, exciting new skills. We explore elements of performance such as choreography and presentation, working towards a showcase at the end of the week. Why not use the week to work towards a Bronze Art Award certificate?
